Why Chedi Legal
What a focused practice can offer you.
Pension law is not a side service for us. It is all we do — and that depth makes a real difference to how we work and what we can see.

Six reasons clients choose us
Pension-only focus
We concentrate exclusively on pension matters — not general commercial law, not property, not family matters. That focus sharpens everything we do.
Plain communication
Legal documents and fund correspondence are translated into language that is clear and useful, not hidden behind professional shorthand.
Fixed, published fees
Each service has a set price. You know what you are paying before you commit and before we begin any work on your behalf.
One practitioner throughout
Your file is managed by a single practitioner. No transfers, no re-explaining your situation to a new face halfway through.
Written records at every stage
We document what was discussed, what was submitted, and what was decided. You always have a record to refer back to.
No commitment from enquiring
An initial conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We find out about your situation and explain what we can offer — that is all.
Expertise
Specialist knowledge, applied carefully
Pension law in Thailand involves three distinct frameworks — the Social Security Fund, the Government Pension Fund, and privately-registered Provident Funds. Each operates under different legislation and has its own dispute procedures. A practitioner who handles pension matters regularly will notice distinctions that a general practitioner might overlook.
Our team's focus on this field means we are familiar with common fault patterns in fund administration, typical timelines, and the points at which formal escalation is likely to help versus where a direct approach to the fund works better.
Process
A clear process, explained step by step
Each of our services follows a defined process. At the outset we explain what each stage involves, what you will need to provide, and approximately how long it is expected to take. This reduces uncertainty and allows you to plan.
We build in a review point partway through each engagement where we check in formally on progress and confirm the direction is still the right one for your situation.
Client Service
Attentive, unhurried client care
We keep client numbers deliberately limited so that each person receives proper attention. When you contact us, we respond within one working day. When something changes in your matter, we tell you before you have to ask.
We also recognise that pension concerns often arise during significant life transitions. We approach each client's situation with that in mind.
Value & Pricing
Fees that reflect the work involved
Our pricing reflects the scope of each service honestly. A Pension Standing Review (฿4,350) is designed to be accessible for anyone who simply needs clarity. Pension Issue Handling (฿9,500) and Comprehensive Pension Case (฿16,700) reflect the greater time and coordination required for those matters.
We discuss scope before committing. If your situation falls between service tiers or has unusual features, we will explain what fits best rather than defaulting to the higher price.
Outcomes
Realistic expectations, real results
We do not measure success only by outcomes that go fully in the client's favour. Many pension matters conclude with partial resolution, a corrected record, or a clearer understanding of options — all of which have real value. We help clients understand what a meaningful result looks like for their specific case.
Where matters have proceeded to formal challenge, our cases have consistently produced written responses and administrative reviews that clients would not have obtained without representation.

What Sets Us Apart
Things we do differently
The step-by-step process panel
Before any work begins, we walk through each stage of the relevant process with you — what happens, in what order, what we need from you, and what we will do. This is not a summary document. It is a conversation, at a pace that suits you.
Scope agreement before engagement
We will not begin billable work until we have agreed in writing what is included and what is not. If your matter develops in a way that exceeds the original scope, we discuss this before proceeding — not after.
Regional fund familiarity
Our practice in Nakhon Ratchasima means we have developed working familiarity with the regional Social Security Office and the Government Pension Fund branch in the area. This familiarity can make correspondence and follow-up more efficient for matters involving these bodies.
Closing report on complex matters
Our Comprehensive Pension Case service concludes with a written report summarising what was raised, what was achieved, what remains unresolved (if anything), and what your next options are. You leave with a document that is useful, not just a verbal debrief.
